When Claireâs store is burglarized by a maniacal female cat burglar, who claims she is looking for a page from a holy Celtic manuscript which Claire believes to be a myth, and then a gorgeous, oversexed hunk costumed as a medieval Highlander appears, also determined to find the page, Claireâs world is turned upside down—literally. For suddenly she is in the midst of a medieval battle, surrounded by giant knights, and her only ally is a medieval macho man who thinks heâs the Terminator —when he isnât trying to seduce her--and she isnât in New York City any more!
Of course, there is an up side to being trapped in the Middle Ages with the hunk of all ages…
Claire doesnât like madmen and she doesnât like the dark, because bad things always happen at night. Her mother was murdered when she was a child by a sicko and so was her cousin, a decade later. But crime has been out of control in the city—in all cities, as modern society is breaking rapidly down, and is on the verge of chaos and anarchy. So when Malcolm tells her about the nameless Brotherhood, and the vows he has taken, claiming that evil isnât random, Claire doesnât want to hear it. And when Claire has to face reality, it is horrific--because evil does have a name and a face, and it is hunting them both.

I had the biggest blast ever writing Malcolm and Claireâs story and I cannot wait to start Black Royceâs next.
